The story of Stillroad Knotworks

Stillroad Knotworks began in 2018 when founder Elena Voss started sharing simple macramé lessons from her small studio overlooking the Pacific. What started as a quiet hobby grew into a welcoming community where anyone can learn the calming art of knotting with clear, compassionate guidance.

Our mission

We believe creativity should feel calm and accessible. Every course is designed so that beginners feel supported while experienced makers find new depth. We teach with patience, celebrate progress over perfection, and create beautiful lasting fiber pieces together.

"Knots are small acts of patience that become something beautiful. We teach you to trust the process."

— Elena Voss, Founder
